Performing and celebrating our students' achievements lies at the heart of Sheffield Music Academy. We offer over 40 performance opportunities over the academic year, from informal lunchtime recitals to formal concerts at major venues.
Lunchtime Concerts
Held on site each SMA Saturday. Students perform to their peers and tutors in a supportive environment. Perfect for building confidence and performance experience.
Formal Concerts
Our formal concerts take place at venues including Sheffield Cathedral and Upper Chapel. These showcase our ensembles, orchestras and choirs in professional settings.
Internal Workshops
We host visiting practitioners for specialist masterclasses and tuition. These give students the chance to work with leading musicians in their field.
External Workshops
Through our partnerships, students participate in external workshops and regional music festivals, broadening their musical horizons.
